Here’s why the timing is interesting: The Union Budget 2026 just laid out a roadmap for "Viksit Bharat," and Biopharma was front and center. The goal isn’t just to make drugs; it’s to build "Bio-manufacturing hubs" across the country.
Effective immediately, we’re seeing a shift from "service" to "product." Companies like Zydus Lifesciences and Biocon (who have been shouting about biologics for years) are finally getting the policy tailwind they needed.
So What?
